Invictus Gaming have beaten Top Esports 3–1 in the Worlds 2026 quarterfinals and advanced to the semifinals. Riot’s official knockout bracket confirms the completed result and places IG in the next round.
It settles the all-LPL quarterfinal: both teams reached the last eight with a 3–1 Swiss record, but Top Esports’ run ends here. Unlike the qualification stage, the knockout bracket has no second route after a series defeat.
IG recover from an opening Swiss loss
IG’s path to the quarterfinal began with a loss to Gen.G. Riot’s Swiss results then show three consecutive series wins: 1–0 against Team Secret Whales, 1–0 against Hanwha Life Esports, and 2–1 against LYON.
That LYON series secured IG’s third Swiss win and a place in the last eight without needing the fifth Swiss round. Top Esports followed a similar record progression: a loss to Hanwha Life Esports, followed by wins over Anyone’s Legend, G2 Esports and Bilibili Gaming.
The quarterfinal’s 3–1 is a separate best-of-five series score, not either team’s Swiss record. IG now have a semifinal place; the Worlds title remains undecided.
The semifinals follow on November 7–8
Riot’s event primer dates the semifinals to November 7 and 8 in Allen, Texas, with each day’s series beginning at 16:00 CST / 22:00 UTC / 23:00 CET in Stockholm. Both semifinals and the final are best-of-five.
The final follows in Brooklyn on November 14, starting at 14:00 EST / 19:00 UTC / 20:00 CET.
The quarterfinal overview keeps the other pairings together. For supporters travelling between the two knockout venues, the bag and re-entry guide covers their different admission rules.
