What this edition uses

We use necessary session and security cookies for the website and editorial login. We do not currently run advertising trackers, newsletter collection or public user accounts. Social share buttons are ordinary links: the external platform receives your visit only when you follow them.

Optional Google Analytics

Only after you choose Accept analytics, Google Analytics 4 measures page views, scrolling, outbound link clicks and downloads. It processes browser/device information and cookie identifiers. It is not loaded before consent or after you reject it. We disable Google signals and advertising personalisation, exclude editorial login pages, and remove URL query strings from the page location sent by our tag.

Your choice is saved in local storage for six months. Analytics cookies are configured to expire after six months. You can withdraw consent using Cookie settings in the footer; this stops collection and removes our Analytics cookies. Rejecting does not restrict access to articles. Google processes analytics information and may process data outside your country; see Google’s privacy policy. We use your consent as the basis for optional analytics.

Infrastructure and logs

Our web infrastructure processes connection information, including IP address, requested page and browser headers, to deliver and protect the site. Where Cloudflare serves the domain, it also processes traffic as an infrastructure provider. Do not send sensitive personal information in correction requests.

Your requests

You can contact us to ask about personal data we hold about you, request correction or deletion, or raise an objection. We assess requests under applicable data-protection rules. You may also contact your local data protection authority.
