Gen.G have beaten Invictus Gaming 3–0 in the Worlds 2026 semifinals, becoming the first team through to the final in Brooklyn. Riot’s knockout bracket lists Gen.G in the final, with their opponent still to be decided between Bilibili Gaming and T1.

The result gives Gen.G consecutive knockout sweeps: they also beat LYON 3–0 in the quarterfinals. IG’s run ends one round after their 3–1 win over Top Esports.

A second win over IG at this Worlds

Gen.G and IG had already met in the opening Swiss round, where Gen.G won their best-of-one. Gen.G then beat Hanwha Life Esports and took a 2–1 qualification series against LYON, finishing Swiss at 3–0.

Across their two knockout series, Gen.G have now won six games without dropping one.

T1 or BLG will join them in Brooklyn

The other semifinal is still unresolved on Riot’s bracket on the morning of November 8. The remaining semifinal date in Riot’s schedule is November 8, starting at 16:00 CST in Allen, Texas / 22:00 UTC / 23:00 CET in Stockholm.

T1 reached that series by beating Karmine Corp 3–1; BLG advanced with a 3–0 win over Dplus KIA. A T1 win would produce an all-LCK final, while BLG would set up another LCK–LPL meeting.

The final takes place in Brooklyn, New York, on November 14, at 14:00 EST / 19:00 UTC / 20:00 CET. It is best-of-five. Our knockout overview collects the completed series; the venue guide covers the move from Allen to Brooklyn.
