Rocket League’s 2.79 patch corrects the Mercedes-AMG G 63’s front trim and the bounty amount shown on two One Piece cosmetics. The official notes list two visual fixes, with no handling or competitive-balance changes announced in this patch.
Psyonix dated the release for November 5 at 16:00 Pacific Standard Time, which is November 6 at 00:00 UTC / 01:00 CET in Stockholm.
Black trim returns to the G-Wagon
The Mercedes-AMG G 63 “G-Wagon” had an issue that made its grille and emblem appear silver instead of black. Version 2.79 lists a correction to those two details, ahead of the G 63’s announced Item Shop arrival with One Piece decals on November 7.
Two One Piece items get a bounty correction
The Straw Hat Crew Boost and One Piece Player Banner were displaying the wrong bounty amount. Both are included in the fix list; the patch notes do not give the old or corrected number.
The collaboration began on November 1. For the event’s challenges and unlocks, see our One Piece rewards guide.
