Sion’s patch 26.21 buffs strengthen both his health growth and the damage ramp on Unstoppable Onslaught. There is also a separate tooltip correction: Riot says the minimum bonus-attack-damage ratio shown for his ultimate had been wrong, rather than secretly changed in an earlier patch.
These are changes to the live game. Worlds 2026 uses patch 26.20, so the 26.21 values should not be used to explain damage in Worlds matches.
More health growth, the same starting health
Sion’s listed health changes from 655 plus 87 per level to 655 plus 95 per level. His starting health stays at 655; the growth value rises by eight.
Riot frames the change as a boost to baseline durability. It should not be confused with changing a separate health-stacking mechanic: the patch entry is specifically in Sion’s base stats.
A longer ultimate charge gains more damage
For Unstoppable Onslaught, Riot changes the damage increase over the first three seconds of the channel. Previously, the notes list 0–166.67% additional base damage and 0–100% additional ratio damage. The new entry is 0–200%.
At the top of that listed ramp, base damage therefore reaches three times its starting value rather than roughly 2.67 times, and the ratio component reaches three times rather than twice. That describes reaching the end of the ramp; a brief charge does not automatically receive the maximum.
Riot’s stated aim is to reward successful engages rather than using the ultimate only as an escape. The increased ramp makes charge duration relevant to the damage, while the health-growth buff operates independently of whether the ultimate connects.
The old 60% minimum was a display error
The tooltip now shows the correct 40–120% bonus AD ratios. Riot says it had incorrectly displayed 60–120%, and explicitly states the underlying ratio was never changed in patch 25.16 beyond that tooltip.
That distinction matters when comparing old clips or guides: the corrected minimum text is not evidence of a new reduction from 60% to 40%. The actual 26.21 buff is the increased damage ramp described above.
