Worlds Swiss Pick’Em locks on 23 October: the deadline and next picking window

Riot’s Swiss predictions close at 17:05 UTC on Friday. The knockout picks have a separate November window, so the end of Swiss picking is not the end of Worlds Pick’Em.

Worlds 2026 Swiss Pick’Em closes at 17:05 UTC on Friday, 23 October — 19:05 in Stockholm, 18:05 in London and 10:05 in Los Angeles. Riot’s live Pick’Em page lists the Swiss stage as open ahead of that deadline, with 125 points available.

If you have only made Play-In predictions, there is a separate Swiss selection to complete. The Play-In window has already ended; it does not carry a set of Swiss choices forward for you.

Where to make your Swiss picks

Open Riot’s Worlds 2026 Pick’Em page and choose Make Picks under Swiss. You need a valid Riot account and Summoner Name; regional eligibility restrictions apply. Use the countdown on that card rather than treating the end date as a midnight deadline. The live page’s lock time is 17:05 UTC, not the end of 23 October in your own timezone. Riot’s earlier primer says picks lock before the first Swiss match, whose session starts at 17:00 UTC; submit before 17:00 rather than relying on those last five minutes.

The Swiss selection covers eight advancing teams from the 16-team field. Riot’s configuration divides those advancing slots into two teams finishing 3–0, three finishing 3–1 and three finishing 3–2. Choosing the qualifiers and choosing their records are therefore distinct parts of the prediction.

The Swiss card lists 125 Pick’Em points available.

Knockout picks open separately in November

Riot lists the knockout picking window as 1–3 November, with 160 points available. Its published opening time is 05:00 UTC on 1 November, and the listed closing time is 22:05 UTC on 3 November.

In Los Angeles, that opening is 22:00 PDT on 31 October — explaining why a US-facing calendar can show October rather than November.

The timezone change between these windows matters in Europe: Stockholm is on CEST for the Swiss deadline but CET by November. The knockout window therefore opens at 06:00 Stockholm time on 1 November and closes at 23:05 on 3 November.

Those are prediction-window dates, not the dates of every knockout match. For the competition’s format and progression, see our Worlds Swiss-stage guide; for event listings, use the tournament calendar.

Crystal Ball is a separate set of predictions

The same Worlds page also offers Crystal Ball, labelled “Predict the Meta.” That sits separately from the Play-In, Swiss and knockout cards. Completing it is not a substitute for submitting the Swiss teams before the Swiss card locks.

Return to the Swiss card after making your choices and check the selections associated with your Riot account before the deadline.
