Fortnite’s Final Spritemare begins on Tuesday, 27 October, with double Sprite XP and Sprite Dust, daily Lucky Locators and a five-day run of exotic weapon changes. Epic announced the event today; it runs through Saturday, 31 October.
The daily changes start at 13:00 UTC / 09:00 EDT / 14:00 CET. Europe has already moved to winter time, but New York does not change clocks until November, so the Stockholm time is 14:00 throughout this event.
The rewards that run every day
Epic’s announcement promises 2× Sprite XP and 2× Sprite Dust all day, every day during the send-off. That is a boost to the named Sprite rewards, not a promise of double XP for every Fortnite progression system.
Completing the daily login Quest earns a Lucky Locator. Meanwhile, 1-Up Tokens and Portable Extractors may drop from Chests. The distinction matters: the Locator is tied to the quest, while the two chest items are possible drops rather than a guaranteed reward from every chest.
Which day brings which weapon?
| Date | Loot-pool addition | Other change |
|---|---|---|
| Tuesday, 27 October | Overclocked 8-Bit Shotgun | Cheat Master and Gold Sprites spawn more often |
| Wednesday, 28 October | Overpowered Shotgun | Loot Hacker Sprites spawn more often |
| Thursday, 29 October | Balloon Popper Assault Rifle | Bounty Hunter Sprites spawn more often |
| Friday, 30 October | Frantic Rebecca’s Guns | Trick or Treat Sprites spawn more often |
| Saturday, 31 October | Marker Bonerattler SMG | More Pumpkin Chests appear across the Island |
These are the additions named for each day. Epic does not specify whether an earlier day’s exotic stays in the pool after the next daily change, so the lineup should not be read as a cumulative inventory.
Friday’s cosmetics and Saturday’s finale
On 30 October, logging in adds Fortnite Calaverita Sprays and an Emoticon to the Locker. This is a separate login reward from the daily Lucky Locator quest.
For the 31 October finale, Epic says Hunter Scavenger, Spooky Sprinter and Prop Hunt are guaranteed in Override Consoles. They are listed separately from the day’s SMG and increased Pumpkin Chests.
The announcement is posted in the official Battle Royale channel. It does not establish an Arenas or tournament loot pool; players preparing for competitive events still need the rules for their specific playlist. Our Fortnitemares playlist guide explains why those distinctions matter.
Epic gives 31 October as the final event date, but does not publish an exact closing hour in the announcement. The confirmed 13:00 UTC time is the daily start, not an independently confirmed final shutdown time.
