Fortnite’s first Arenas Cash Cup: Sunday’s EU time, Platinum entry and prize split

The EU session runs from 14:00 to 16:00 UTC on 25 October. Arenas rank—not Battle Royale rank—sets the entry threshold, and the $10,000 is shared across seven regions.

Fortnite’s first Arenas Cash Cup takes place on Sunday, 25 October 2026, with the European session running from 14:00 to 16:00 UTC. Players need to have reached Platinum or higher in Arenas Ranked in either the current or previous Ranked season. A Battle Royale rank is not the qualification named in the rules.

Epic announced the competition alongside this week’s Arenas update. It is a Solo Arenas event, with a maximum of eight players in each match and up to four reboots per player—five lives in total.

EU start time: remember the clock change

The official EU event listing gives a two-hour window on 25 October:

  • 14:00–16:00 UTC
  • 15:00–17:00 CET in Stockholm, Berlin and Paris
  • 14:00–16:00 GMT in London

European clocks go back earlier that Sunday. The Stockholm time is therefore CET, not the CEST still in use on Saturday. Use the event’s region selector for other regions; the EU window is not a worldwide start time. Epic’s rules say the final schedule is shown in-game.

The session is also on our tournament calendar.

Twelve matches, with scoring shown in-game

Each player can enter up to 12 matches during the approximately two-hour session. A match counts only if it begins before the session closes. Check the in-game scoring panel before queueing: the published rules defer the points table to the game rather than supplying a Battle Royale-style placement chart.

The event page also requires players to be at least 13, or the higher minimum age in their country, and to have multi-factor authentication enabled. Minors need parental or guardian permission under the event rules. The linked event and Master Rules contain the full eligibility requirements; reaching Platinum alone does not replace them.

After total points, the rules list Victory Royales, average eliminations, average placement and total seconds survived as the successive tiebreak criteria.

The $10,000 is not the winner’s cheque

Epic describes the competition as a $10,000 Cash Cup. Adding the seven regional prize tables in the official rules gives that total; Europe’s share is $3,350.

The EU payouts, in US dollars, are:

  • 1st: $1,000
  • 2nd: $750
  • 3rd: $500
  • 4th: $300
  • 5th–6th: $200 each
  • 7th–10th: $100 each

These are leaderboard-placement prizes, subject to Epic’s eligibility checks, rather than a payment for each match win. The rules exclude residents of Turkey and Russia from receiving prizes.
