Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates could be heading to Fortnite — but the much-discussed One Piece crossover is still an unconfirmed prospect. Reports point to a substantial November collaboration, potentially a mini-season rather than just a handful of shop skins. We found no formal One Piece announcement in Epic Games’ Fortnite news coverage at the time of publication.

Why November keeps coming up

Insider Gaming’s September report attributes the latest claims to ShiinaBR, citing fellow leakers SamLeakss and SpushFNBR. The reported plan is a major collaboration near the end of Chapter 7, with 1 November discussed as a possible starting point.

That date is a leak-based expectation, not an Epic-confirmed One Piece release date. A mini-season would mean a shorter themed run of content, rather than a single live event that players must catch at one particular time. The reporting does not establish a confirmed live-event schedule.

The hints behind the excitement

There is more fuelling the discussion than a proposed date. According to TalkEsport, Fortnite’s official X account replied on 6 October to fan art featuring Luffy alongside other anime characters waiting for a crossover. Its response was a numbered ticket asking them to take a number.

Fans read that as a playful hint, but it did not name an upcoming collaboration or announce its contents.

Pirate imagery has added to the speculation. Gaming Route’s roundup describes a pirate chest and a loading screen featuring Jonesy on a barrel, which fans have linked to Luffy’s introduction. The same report notes that the chest has no One Piece branding. Those details fit the theory, but they do not prove it.

Can you get a Luffy skin yet?

There is no verified One Piece outfit lineup in the reporting reviewed for this story, nor confirmed prices or event-pass rewards. A Luffy skin, special powers and a themed Battle Pass may sound like natural possibilities, but none should be treated as announced content.

For now, November is the window to watch — not a guaranteed appointment with the Straw Hat crew. The big unanswered question is whether Epic’s eventual reveal will match the full mini-season fans are imagining.
