A Victory Royale can end the championship
The Fortnite Mobile Series Championship takes place on 24–25 October 2026 at BLAST Studios in Copenhagen, Denmark, with 16 players competing in Solo Reload. The decisive twist is match point: on day two, a player who starts a match above a fixed points threshold and then wins that match becomes champion immediately.
That makes this more than a race to finish the weekend at the top of the points table. Epic’s championship rules, published on 16 October, specify the automatic-win condition; the broader Mobile Series overview describes the points race more simply.
How the threshold works
Day one allows up to 12 matches. Before day two begins, the threshold is fixed at 150% of the day-one leader’s points, rounded up to the next whole number if necessary. It does not move as players add points on Sunday.
For an illustrative example, if the day-one leader finishes on 201 points, the threshold becomes 302: 201 × 1.5 = 301.5, rounded up. Under the rule’s strict “above” wording, a player starting a match on 302 is not eligible for the automatic win; a player starting on 303 is. That player must still earn a Victory Royale in that match. Crossing the threshold during the match does not meet the starting-score condition.
This example is not a prediction or a live score. The actual threshold depends on Saturday’s results.
Why Sunday may need overtime
Day two has up to 15 matches, but the last three are conditional. If nobody has triggered an automatic win after its twelfth match:
- If fewer than two players have crossed the threshold, the event ends and the points leaderboard determines the placings.
- If at least two have crossed it, matches 13–15 provide overtime. An eligible Victory Royale still ends the tournament immediately.
- If no eligible player wins by the end of match 15, the points leaderboard decides the final standings.
The maximum across both days is therefore 27 matches, not a guaranteed schedule. For a viewer, the crucial information is each player’s score at the start of a match, not just the leaderboard shown at its end.
Points and prizes are separate numbers
Attachment A awards 25 placement points for a Victory Royale, 22 for second, 20 for third, and two points per elimination. The complete placement scale runs down to one point for 16th.
Attachment C lists a $50,000 first-place prize. Its 16 placement awards add up to $200,000 for this championship. That is different from the $1 million advertised across the wider Mobile Series programme; it is not a $1 million winner’s cheque or championship-only pool.
Dates to keep—and the Copenhagen clock change
The event is upcoming: Saturday 24 October is day one; Sunday 25 October is day two. The published rules give dates, not a public start hour, and direct players to the in-game schedule for final dates and times.
Copenhagen changes from CEST (UTC+2) to CET (UTC+1) during this weekend. At 01:00 UTC on 25 October, local clocks move from 03:00 to 02:00. Any subsequently announced local match time needs the offset for that date; do not carry Saturday’s conversion over to Sunday.
